[It had been about five months. She had been here since March. A birthday had passed since then, silently, as it always did.

But something hadn't been brought with her, and that was more important than her birthday: her self-conceived source of courage and hope, the rosary that Fin had given her when she first appeared. As Jeanne she could do anything, she was strong, and she was brave. Just being Maron she wasn't any of those things. Or so she's thought.

Still, Maron kept holding out that it would appear in the item shop and she'd find it here. It wasn't much different than waiting for the mail at her apartment in Momokuri...

So, as she's done for the past five months, Maron will be making her way to the item shop, hoping to find her precious rosary... only to come back out with nothing, just like normal.

Maron will return to her room, looking to the ground as she walks. She's definitely not herself at the moment. Her mask will be back on soon enough. Maybe she'll have better luck tomorrow.

[Later on, her voice will come on over the journals, where she sounds normal.]

I guess I'm going on a mission. The Malnosso let me know of it a couple days ago so... wish me luck if you're not going! If anyone is going, how do they work? Well, besides that we go and work for our captors.

Er, anyway! It sounds like I'll be doing some acrobatics for it. I should practice.

[And out she goes! She'll have her journal on her, but she'll be out by the lake again, practice props with her as well. Hopefully she won't be distracted and leap into the lake by accident.

Or maybe, you'll find her in the lake from an unfortunate leap. Whoops.]

You sound... enthusiastic about that. It would be fun! Probably kind of dramatic if one of us got caught and the other didn't. But I'd break you out if it came to that.

Kh... you haven't forgotten about that-- Perfect. But we can only steal things that need to be stolen. So far, I don't think there's anything like that here. I might still just call you July though. To make up for me being Sifsis.

I like that name way better than Kyon, that's for sure, Maron-chan. And yeah, it'd be pretty bad to steal stuff just for our own gain, especially in a place where everything's free. That'd basically mean only taking other people's valuable stuff.

But taking things should be stuff they don't need. Ooor maybe if it's bad for them to have.

[Maybe, maybe, if it ever happened she would have a partner in crime if the time ever arose for Jeanne, but... that's still a vague MAYBE.]

Then we'll be perfect! Hopefully the time will never come when we're needed, but just in case, better have a costume ready too! [She'll laugh at that though, not too serious about a costume.]

Oh, you bet. We all hope that the city won't need us... but at the same time, we know we have to be prepared for the worst that the winter in people's hearts can throw at June-san!

I'm impressed, July! That's on par with what you'd hear on a Sentai show as an episode prologue. Ehehe, catchy too. We ahould adopt that as our opening speech.
