[Maron is in the rec center today, keeping herself a little isolated from anyone else who might be there today; she's more there to have some open room to practice her gymnastics and is currently trying out a new move. Of course, she's prone to mess up since she's trying to perfect it. There may or may not be a gymnastics ribbon flying away from her when it's kicked up, whoops.

Later, she'll be at the hot springs relaxing, humming to herself and being... well, herself.

The last part of the day will be at night. Maron, missing her old night job of thief for God, will be disguising herself and out on the roofs. It's late out, around midnight, but Maron will be out trying to find her way around on rooftop, just in case she has the ability to become Jeanne again. She's not recognizable however, but she can be spotted and talked to... even if she tries to disguise her voice too.]

[The ribbon makes him recall some of the folk dances back in the Shire. The graceful movements make him think, suddenly, of the elves. It's an odd juxtaposition of thought, and a curious hobbit finds himself peeking, just a little, carefully, around the door of the rec center room where Maron is practicing.

When she turns in his direction, he has a tendency to duck quickly out of sight, but occasionally a glimpse is still quite visible. And by the time the ribbon goes hurtling through the air, it manages to land at his feet. He bends to pick it up, and holds it out to the girl.]

It seems to have a mind of its own, doesn't it?

[Oh... someone had been watching? Well, that was all right. Bilbo will get a smile out of Maron as she goes to grab her ribbon.]

Ah yeah, it can sometimes. Especially when I want it to do something specific and it's not working.

Think nothing of it. There was no harm done, and it was a pleasure to watch your dance.

Dance? [Oh. Her practicing, yes.] Ah, I can do an actual routine if you'd like, that was practicing something new, really. I can't imagine watching me practice the same thing over and over would be a lot of fun.

I don't mind, really. I've never seen something exactly like it. [It really is like dancing, but not like the hardy dances of the shire or the perfect grace of an elf.]

Sure. It'll help me to not be frustrated after all of my attempts to think of something new.

[She'll keep her ribbon for the dance, and even without music, rhythmic gymnastics with the ribbon implement is quite pretty to watch! Maron will do a quick routine, but it's hardly lacking of grace. Maybe not as graceful as an elf, but still there in its own right.

Once she's finished, she'll take a bow.]

Seems new to me. [He supposes some of the Shire folk dances aren't that different from the basic idea - but they definitely don't have the same moves or feel.]

Maybe it depends on where you're from.

Maybe! But it's fun. I think as long as you have fun, that's what matters! Is dancing different where you're from?

[Different, indeed. Maron is far more graceful and lithe than the hardy dances of the Shire; yet she lacks the dignity of an Elf. What should he compare this dancing to?]

It's beautiful; but it is different.

Do you know any of the dances? Can you show me?

[All manner of dance is pretty, but now she's just curious. Especially since he doesn't look like a run-of-the-mill human.]

Well, I know them, but... a lot of them need a pair of dancers to work.

[And he's not entirely sure he would be the best teacher. Oh, he takes some pride in his performance, but he's still not sure about showing someone else the steps, aside from maybe a hobbit child who's seen the dances at every party anyway.]

That's a little disappointing, but maybe another time? You never know when something unexpected will happen and someone else will arrive here and know you!

[The closest to that would be Aragorn; but they haven't had many opportunities to speak here, and had never known each other back in Bilbo's world at his time.]

Maybe. Though I'm not sure I'd wish it on any of them. And the ones who might be safer here still have something they want to accomplish back there.

[She's had a lot on her mind lately, and for Mizuno Ami, that means one of a few things: swimming, chess, or evidently letting her troubles melt away into the hot spring while she unwinds.

Not having expected someone else to be there, she checks herself as soon as she spots Maron, and dips her head in a somewhat apologetic nod of greeting.]

Excuse me. I didn't mean to intrude.

[Maron had been relaxing for a little while now, eyes closed, and just taking in what was a great mind clearer. When she hears someone's voice, she opens her eyes and looks over.]

Oh, no, it's all right! No need to apologize, the hot springs are for everyone to use, right?

[Ami slips into the water quickly, spending a minimum of time exposed to view.]

Still, I didn't want to intrude, if you wanted some time to yourself.

No, not a problem at all. It's not so bad with company after all. I just needed a good soak after practicing some stuff is all!

It can help to keep your muscles relaxed after a workout like that.

Aah, definitely! It's better than a bath, that's for sure. I try to do this at least once a week beyond a normal hot bath. It helps the bath even more later on.

[Plus, she just really likes to pamper herself with the hot springs.]

Come to think of it, Maron-san, if you like hot springs, do you also like swimming?

[Because there will definitely be swimming invitations come warm weather, if the answer is yes. She'll get up the courage to invite Maron.]

I haven't been swimming in a long time, but I like it a lot. I thought about swimming in the lakes here, or even the ocean, but I never got a chance. What about you?

I've gone swimming, and I've given some lessons here, too. It's a sport I've liked ever since I was young, so I try to take every chance I have to do it.

Oh, neat! Did you swim competitively back home? I'll bet you were really good at it if you did.

No; there wasn't really an opportunity for that. [She's not very competitive anyway - oh, she likes to win, but she worries too much about offending the loser if she does win.]

That's too bad. Maybe something like that can happen here? It'd be a break from the normal days here. Well, in the summertime I mean! I don't think swim meets could happen here.

No, not in the hot spring. But there's the shore.

Would you be interested in joining a swimming outing?

Sure, it sounds like a lot of fun! I wouldn't mind doing that.

[After a cold morning, Tsuzuki can't help but be drawn to the hot springs. He rarely gets to go.]

[Unfortunately, he hasn't expected there could be other people there. He clears his throat, a little nervously. Mixed gender baths are still new to him.]

Uhm.

...Is it okay if I sit down?

[...welp. As long as he doesn't do anything terrible, he's golden.]

Y-yeah, that's fine. I wasn't expecting any guys to be here, ahaha.

[Don't worry Tsuzuki, she's just as nervous as you on this matter.]

I didn't expect anyone else to be here either.

[Luckily he's not a guy that would do that kind of terrible things, but he certainly feels like a did a faux pas anyway. Feeling embarrassed, he scratches the back of his neck.]

Ermn. But it if bothers you, I can wait. It's not a problem!

Oh, no! It's fine, it's fine! I mean, it's not closed to just one person once they're in. At least I know I'm not alone in wanting to enjoy the finest pleasures of a good hot springs soak without all the mess of traveling through a countryside and up a mountain.

[At least not without a good teleporter to bring one up here, that is!]
