[Hi there. You might notice your bed occupied by a girl in a new feather dress. However, she's no new feather and she looks worse for the wear. She had been in the care of the Malnosso for some time. What do?]

[Later on, when she's been woken up and (hopefully) bandaged up, she'll turn on the voice function. She sounds about as good as she looks.]

I'm back. [Silence. She's thinking.] How... what day is it? I don't know how long I've been gone.

['... I guess if I popped randomly into her lava-filled bedroom, she gets to randomly appear in mine.

Wait, this is starting to sound--Okay, focus. What do we do now?']

...R-Right, so...

['...You know, she looks like she might need some sleep. Maybe I'll just... give it a little while?'

Sighing, he elects to just adjust the covers a bit before grabbing a book off his table at random and settling in in a chair. He'll wait this out... at least for a while.]

[Don't worry. It won't be long at all. Give it another 15-20 minutes. She'll wake up and realize that she's not... in her bed or the makeshift bed she had while in captivity. Sitting up just prompts her to go back down with a cry - something's probably bruised and hurting. After getting her mind set back on Not Hurt, Maron will take a look around and stare at Kyon for a second.

And then it will hit her.]

Am... am I in your...?

['Hmm... "You sure are. Was it as good for you as it was for me?"

....

Okay, much as she teases me, she might not be in shape for that right now. Plus, I'm not sure I could do that without choking and embarrassing myself, so there's that too.']

Ah--you just popped up here, Maron-chan. Are you okay? You remember me and everything?

[That... is probably for the best. Even in normal conditions it might be bad. ~~Hilarious on my side, but bad.~~]

Kyon...kun. [Yep, even an honouriffic from the normally first name basis always girl.]

I just appeared here? At least I'm close to my room, I guess. Sorry.

No need to apologize. Actually, you should stay here as long as you need to. You look totally worn out. And back to the New Feather look, too.

It was... well. It wasn't nice. I'm not sure what they were trying to achieve by keeping me out of lit rooms for long periods of time or when they'd throw in a weapon or two with... something else to fight against.

[Maron falls silent for a moment. She's trying to stay her normal, tough self (or something close) but tears appear despite her best efforts.]

A-anyway it's over now! I'm... I-I'm fine!

[Only to pretty girls in New Feather dresses in his bed. Hard to be mean to those.]

Th...That doesn't sound like...

[Actually, that makes him pretty mad.

'Gladiator stuff, really? What the hell? Come on. She's Phantom Thief June, not Russell Crowe. ... And she's not even that either.']

You were gone for a long time... I don't think you can be expected to be fine even if it wasn't something as bad as that. But look, you're okay now. You're back here with everyone else, right...?

[Somewhere in her thoughts there just might be a "kyaa kyaa Kyon you're so cool!"

In all honesty, it wasn't even the fighting part that was the worst for her - considering she really IS a phantom thief - it was the darkness part. Being alone in the dark was Not A Good Thing for her, and was more scarring than anything physical.]

Hmm... Well, I guess it can't be so urgent that you have to move right now. But we'd better take you to the clinic once you've rested up a little anyway, all right?

No, I don't think there's anything that needs any immediate care. I should be able to move if I move slowly.

[His eyes widen a bit and he gets up from the chair, coming over to the bedside.]

Look, just relax, okay? Don't worry about the whole moving thing, and tell me if you want anything, I can get it for you.

But-- [As frustrating as it was, it was probably for the best. After a moment, she'll look over at him, cheeks turing red.]

S...sure. Kyon, what's your favourite food? [Abrupt, yes, but it's a good way to pay him back, right?

['Ah... don't go all cute on me now, okay? You tried to tickle torture me once, and I'm not forgetting it...

...Okay, I might be forgiving it though.']

Oh, you know... I like all kinds of stuff. I guess I like a good hot pot best.

[Kyon's weakness = cute girls. Maron has some luck on her side being one.]

It's been a while, but I think I could pull it off Then that's decided. When I can move around better, you'll get hopefully the best hot pot you've ever had!

Oh--[He laughs a little.]-- Well... I'd say that's not necessary, which it isn't, but I can't say I'd complain either.

['Actually, it might be quite angelic and enchanting and excellent...!']

[He is, after all, pretty much doing stuff for her while she's... taking over his bed.]

Mm... maybe some water. I'm not really hungry right now. Thanks, Kyon.

Sure, well, I mean, you just got back from a kidnapping. Anyone would help you out, I'm sure.

[Anyway, nod.] All right, some water and then I'll leave you alone.
